Crimson Clover Harvest 9/28/08

(See the Stefania blog for more detail.) I joined the Stefania crew and some friends for this Cabernet harvest. The fruit looked really good, with brittle seeds. Their standards are impressively high. Try and find a leaf in that bin, i dare you... Anyway, it took us 5 1/2 hours to yield 3200 lbs.

A few bees and hornets came around when it warmed up, but not a lot. They got pretty shy when I pulled the camera out. Maybe most had already hitched a ride to Big Basin...
