Cabernet harvest 10/3/08

Burt and I drove down to San Martin and picked 240 lbs. of Cab from the Garlind Vyd. The vines are trained using a quadrilateral cordon trellis system and are well maintained. The quality of the grapes was outstanding. This site appears to be warm enough that this method isn't a problem. In fact, these were the easiest to harvest grapes I've yet encountered.

We yielded 25 gallons of "must", which should result in around 17 gals. of wine. Measured 25 brix, 3.37 ph, .78% TA.
