Purple Basil Jelly 11/21/08



Here is the herb blend in apple juice, all estate.



After heating, the juice is dark.



Heating and stirring in the sugar.



Ready for the jars.



All done. Just short of 11 jars, so 10 were canned and one went into the fridge for me.

If I ever get enough basil to grow, I'd love to try this. And I'm thinking of doing some Limoncello for Christmas.
